1980

I spent the weekend out of the city at the home of a family friend. The friend was part of a tight-knit group of fundamentalist Christian intellectuals in late 70s-early 80s Liberia that included my parents. She owns about a dozen photo albums of pictures of their friendship and love for one another from before the war. I snapped a few. By far the best couple hours of picture gazing I’ve spent in a long time.
